June 24

• Psych intervention, Hanna Flat Campground, Big Bear City. Female victim was left stranded by boyfriend and had no money. She claimed she suffered a nervous breakdown, but did not meet criteria for crisis intervention. She voluntarily went to Arrowhead Regional Medical Center.

• Psych intervention, 41800 block of Garstin Drive, Big Bear Lake. Male subject in the emergency room was suicidal, but did not meet crisis requirements and was released.

• Lost property, 41400 block of Big Bear Boulevard, Big Bear Lake. A Samsung Galaxy cellphone and brown Quicksilver billfold were reported missing. 

June 25

• Death investigation, 300 block of Knight Avenue, Big Bear Lake. Subject was found deceased in cabin. Death appears to be from natural causes.

• Adult Protective Services follow up, 40000 block of Forest Road, Big Bear Lake. Allegations of abuse of finances were determined

unfounded.

• Psych intervention/evaluation, 41800 block of Garstin Drive, Big Bear Lake. Same male subject from day prior was still suicidal and taken to Arrowhead Regional Medical Center.

• Found property, 400 block of Summit Boulevard, Big Bear Lake. A black leather bi-fold wallet was found.

• Noninjury traffic collision, Big Bear Boulevard at Badger Lane, Big Bear Lake. Two vehicles, one towing a boat, were involved in collision.

• Found property, 400 block of Summit Boulevard, Big Bear Lake. A pink and black bicycle was found.

• Possession for sales, West North Shore Drive at North Whispering Forest Drive, Big Bear City. During traffic stop, 51-year-old female subject was discovered with an outstanding warrant and suspended driver’s license. Methamphetamine, pipe and scale were found in her possession. She was arrested.

June 26

• Found narcotics, Hanna Flats Campground, Big Bear City. Narcotics found at location were turned in to authorities. Narcotics tested positive and were destroyed. 

• Noninjury traffic collision, Knickerbocker Road at Big Bear Boulevard, Big Bear Lake. Vehicle versus street sign.

• DUI, Big Bear Boulevard at Bartlett Road, Big Bear Lake. Male subject driving with expired license was arrested for DUI.

• Found property, 400 block of Summit Boulevard, Big Bear Lake. 

• Felony child abuse, 41800 block of Garstin Drive, Big Bear Lake. A 22-month-old child was brought to emergency room with a broken femur. Injury considered accidental, suspicions of abuse appear unfounded. Child was taken to Loma Linda University Medical Center.

• Psych intervention/evaluation, 41800 block of Garstin Drive, Big Bear Lake. Male took his fiancee to hospital stating she overdosed on Valium. Fiancee walked out and left in male’s car. Deputies located her and took her back to hospital. She walked out again and was located later on a disturbing the peace call.

• Land trespass, 700 block of Cameron Drive, Big Bear Lake. Evicted tenant kept returning to residence, supposedly to pick up property.

June 27

• Vandalism, 300 block of East Aeroplane Boulevard, Big Bear City. A Lazy Boy recliner was taken from the front porch. It was discovered busted up near the residence.

• Criminal threats, 400 block of South Ashwood Drive, Big Bear City. A female subject on a skateboard threatened mother with the skateboard and that she would shoot up the house. The 23-year-old female, with a $25,000 warrant for disturbing the peace, was arrested for making criminal threats. Two 20-year-old subjects were arrested for public intoxication.

• Domestic battery, East Big Bear Boulevard, Big Bear City. Male subject was arrested for repeatedly beating his girlfriend. He pushed her, causing her to hit her head and lose

consciousness.

• Domestic disturbance, 200 block of West Big Bear Boulevard, Big Bear City. He said/she said situation determined to be a verbal argument only.

• Missing person, Conklin Road at Big Bear Boulevard, Big Bear Lake. Reporting party returned home early and boyfriend wasn’t home. She couldn’t reach him on his cellphone. It turned out he wasn’t missing—he was in Yucaipa at a friend’s house.

• Child Protective Services follow up, 40000 block of Esterly Lane, Big Bear Lake. Allegations of abuse were determined unfounded.

• Burglary, 42000 block of Willow Avenue, Big Bear Lake. A cabin was broken into and all electronics were taken. Last guest was at the cabin a month ago.

• Miscellaneous incident, 38000 block of Big Bear Boulevard, Big Bear Lake. During renovation, cabinets were set outside and someone took them.

• Miscellaneous incident, 38000 block of North Bay Drive, Big Bear Lake. Possible abuse of a child attending camp was reported. There was no evidence and allegations were determined unfounded. 

June 28

• Psych intervention/evaluation, 500 block of West Big Bear Boulevard, Big Bear City. Female subject was talking to herself. She was transported to crisis center.

• Driving with suspended/revoked license, Big Bear Boulevard at Edgemoor Road, Big Bear Lake. Traffic stop for expired tags. Driver was on probation for DUI and has suspended license. The vehicle was towed.

• Fraudulent use of credit card, 900 block of North Sequoia Drive, Big Bear City. Unknown subject attempted to charge $4,001 using victim’s card number. Victim is still in possession of the card.

• Driving with suspended/revoked license, Tehama Drive at Sunset Drive, Big Bear Lake. Traffic stop for expired registration. Driver’s license is suspended.

• DUI, Moonridge Road at Plymouth Road, Big Bear Lake. A 53-year-old male subject was arrested.

June 29

• Noninjury traffic collision, 1300 block of East Big Bear Boulevard, Big Bear City. A 27-year-old male subject attempted to negotiate a turn and crashed into a ditch. He was arrested for DUI.

• Domestic battery, 500 block of East Elysian Boulevard, Big Bear City. A 23-year-old male subject grabbed his girlfriend by her face and threw her to the floor. During arrest, subject kicked out window of deputy’s vehicle.

• Petty theft less than $50, 900 block of West Rainbow Boulevard, Big Bear City. A red Huffy Stone mountain bicycle was taken from driveway during the night. 

• Reckless operator/DUI, Pleasure Point Marina, Big Bear Lake. A 36-year-old male subject was observed by Lake Patrol operating boat in reckless manner. He was arrested for DUI.

• Drunk in public, 44000 block of Mahogany Lane, Sugarloaf. A 53-year-old male subject was drinking at Little League All-Star game. He began going from house to house, knocking on doors, looking for a ride. Coaches had to restrain him.

• Petty theft, 41000 block of Park Avenue, Big Bear Lake. Two kayaks were taken from unlocked garage and yard.

• Grand theft, 600 block of Pine Knot Avenue, Big Bear Lake. Items stolen from unlocked vehicle include purse, iPad and Sony camera.

• Fraudulent use of credit card, 400 block of Summit Boulevard, Big Bear Lake. Reporting party lost bank card and later discovered unauthorized charges were made.

June 30

• Possession of cannabis, South McAlister Road at West Constellation Drive, Big Bear City. During a traffic stop, 30-year-old female driver was discovered to be unlicensed and with a warrant. During search, marijuana was found in her purse and concentrated cannabis under her seat.

• Fraudulent use of credit card, 200 block of Imperial Avenue, Sugarloaf. Unknown subject made fraudulent charges on three websites amounting to $68 using reporting party’s account.

• Domestic battery, 40000 block of Lakeview Drive, Big Bear Lake. A 33-year-old male subject was arrested for dragging female victim from bathroom and hitting her multiple times in the face.

• Laser pointed at aircraft, 400 block of Summit Boulevard, Big Bear Lake. According to call from Federal Aviation Administration, a Delta pilot flying at 24,000 feet reported a green laser was pointed at cockpit. Pilot believes origin was from south side of Big Bear Valley. 

• Tow request, Big Bear Boulevard at Village Drive, Big Bear Lake. Vehicle with expired registration was towed.

• Noninjury boat collision, between Boulder Bay and North Shore Marina, Big Bear Lake. 

• Felony spouse abuse, 300 block of East Angeles Boulevard, Big Bear City. A 20-year-old female subject was arrested for striking male victim several times in the face and pulling out clumps of his hair.

• Possession of dangerous drugs, Sonoma Drive at Elm Street, Big Bear Lake. During vehicle check, 38-year-old female driver had a bag of methamphetamine in plain view in her purse. She was arrested.
