San Bernardino County officials reported today that there are 31 cases of COVID-19 in the county.
Following on the heels of the city of Big Bear Lake’s announcement March 22, San Bernardino County today announced that lodging facilities within the county may not operate under the stay at home order issued by the governor and the county public health department order.
The city of Big Bear Lake took action today to order motels, hotels and private home rentals to close their doors except for essential service personnel.
Rick Herrick is the first positive case of COVID-19 in Big Bear. The Big Bear Lake mayor was tested Thursday, March 19 and tests came back positive late Friday.
A third confirmed case has been reported in San Bernardino County involving a woman in her 50s. No further information was available on the patient and where she lives.
The first case of COVID-19 has been confirmed for San Bernardino County. At this time, there are no confirmed or reported cases in Big Bear.
