San Bernardino County Fire Department hosts a community chipping day Sunday, June 30, at Fawnskin Fire Station 96.

Build your defensible space around your home and reduce the community’s fire risk. Bring cut brush and branches to the fire station from 10 a.m. to

3 p.m. Limbs up to 15 inches in diameter and 10 feet in length are acceptable. Leaves and pine needles cannot be chipped. Chipping and chips are available at no charge.

The Fawnskin Fire Station 96 is at 39188 Rim of the World Drive, Fawnskin.
