Ann Wyatt, born Ann Hordynski on Febraury 1, 1956 in Surrey, England, tragically lost her life on June 8, 2018 in Pendleton, OR. She was riding her bicycle to work, as she so often did, when she was struck from behind by a motorist. Ann Wyatt last worked for the USDA Forest Service at the Supervisor’s Office for the Umatilla National Forest in Pendleton, OR. Ann had more than 25 years of service to our Nation’s forests, wilderness, and conservation efforts. She was an avid outdoorswoman, loved everything about nature, loved all of her family and friends dearly. She has touched the hearts and lives of so many people in her time here on earth. She will be greatly missed, but her amazing heart, contagious smile, and laughter will continue to fill the hearts of all those who knew her. We love you!
She is survived by her husband, Oran Wyatt, Pendleton OR, her brother, Stephen Hordynski, Redlands, CA, her son, Michael K. Barz, Lakewood, CA, her daughter, Rebecca Canalez, Costa Mesa, CA and her grandson, Liam J. Canalez.
Memorial will be held on June 28, 2018 from 1 - 4 p.m. at the Big Bear Discovery Center.
