What a wonderful Memorial Day ceremony at Veterans Park. Yes, there was cold and snow but it glistened in the beautiful sunlight. The snow and cold were nothing to us compared to those who perished to cold in the trenches of World War l, World War ll in Europe and the chosen reservoir in Korea.

Perhaps the empty chairs could have been filled by those who might sacrifice 45 minutes of cold to honor those who really sacrificed.

Let’s not forget.
