The AMGEN Tour of California is the premier professional cycling race in the United States attracting an international field year after year. The 2015 edition of the storied race is May 10-17. On May 15, the race makes an appearance in Big Bear for a unique Time Trial stage.
This is the third time in the event’s 10-year history it has come to Big Bear. But unlike the previous two years, this stage is an all-day event that will be broadcast on live television. The start of the time trial will take place on Village Drive in the Village area of Big Bear Lake. The finish line is the jetty at Pine Knot Landing. A Lifestyle Expo is slated for Pine Knot Avenue in the Village.
