Four days of independent films, screenwriter workshops and seminars highlight the ninth annual Columbia Gorge International Film Festival in Big Bear. The event is at the Performing Arts Center Thursday-Sunday, Sept. 22-25.

After growing out of the family barn that served as the event’s home base in the past, event organizers Tim Udall and Breven Warren are taking their annual film festival on the road. Their first stop is Big Bear Lake.
